Anti-Pest Fest is a fundraising gig organised by Chicanes, created to stand firmly against misconduct and to support those affected by it.
“After concerns were raised about members of the local scene making young girls and musicians feel uncomfortable through inappropriate behaviour, we decided to make a statement by taking over the gig we had originally been booked to play by a certain individual.”
It will be a night focused on safety, joy, solidarity, and raising money for Sue Lambert Trust. All profits from ticket sales, donations via the link on the band’s Instagram page, and a raffle will be donated to the charity to help them continue supporting people who have experienced harm or unwanted behaviour.
On the night, a representative from the charity will speak between sets to share more about their work.
The line-up includes Jakkels, The Winonas, Lara Price Band, and Chicanes. The event will take place at Voodoo Daddy’s in Norwich on Saturday 14th March.
Tickets are £6 online or £8 on the door.
